What is chalk art?
The Chalk & Sign Art Project is the holding of events and special exhibitions centered on chalk art, signboard production, menu board production, mural painting, booklet visual design production, online lessons using YouTube, and chalk art entertainment type cafes. We provide a wide range of complex services related to chalk art, such as in-house management.
Through such activities, we will establish chalk art as "art", focus on discovering and cultivating the demand of chalk artists and sign artists as "professions", and root it in future children's education and Japanese culture. Our business philosophy is to spread the appeal of hand-painting throughout Japan.
Chalk and Sign Art What is Project?
Chalk art, which originated from British pub signs, moved to Australia with immigrants from the United Kingdom and became more colorful and artistic today by local sign craftsmen.
Originally, chalk art was drawn using chalk, but as the need for color has increased and for improving durability, the method of drawing using oil pastel has become mainstream.
Nowadays, art works drawn on blackboards regardless of the type of painting materials used are generally called "chalk art".
